Food Bank of North Alabama

Founded in 1984, Food Bank of North Alabama is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Huntsville that distributes over 8 million pounds of food annually to more than 250 partner agencies across 11 counties in North Alabama, serving over 100,000 people in need. Beyond immediate food assistance, the organization addresses hunger's root causes through community partnerships and local food initiatives that support small farmers, food entrepreneurship, and sustainable access to healthy food.
