West Alabama Food Bank

West Alabama Food Bank is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization incorporated in 1987 that collects, safely stores, and distributes food donations to member agencies serving nine West Alabama counties, including Bibb, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Marion, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa. Located in Northport, AL, the organization has distributed more than 17 million pounds of food to alleviate hunger and food insecurity for a population of over 315,000 residents, with community involvement through volunteer programs and donations.
