Alabama Childhood Food Solutions

Alabama Childhood Food Solutions is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Sylacauga, Alabama, dedicated to alleviating childhood hunger and food insecurity across Central Alabama. Founded in 2012, the organization provides nutritious food to approximately 2,000 children and food-insecure adults across multiple counties including Talladega, Coosa, Shelby, Randolph, and Calhoun, serving students in 38 schools each weekend and hundreds of families monthly. The organization combines weekend backpack programs for school children with regular food distribution to families, operating as a community-driven initiative supported by numerous local businesses, churches, and organizations working to break the cycle of food insecurity in the region.
