Grace Church Food Pantry

Table of Grace is a client-choice, market-style food pantry operated by Grace Presbyterian Church in Tuscaloosa, an innovative approach that allows clients to select specific food items for their households instead of receiving pre-assembled packages. The ministry, which has roots dating back decades with the church's food pantry work and became a West Alabama Food Bank agency in 1996, opened its dedicated Table of Grace building in October 2023 and now serves nearly 3,000 Tuscaloosa residents monthly. As a ministry rooted in the church's mission for peace and justice, Table of Grace reflects Grace Presbyterian's commitment to addressing food insecurity and promoting dignity for those in need in the community.
