Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is a non-profit organization based in Anchorage that administers the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR), providing nutritional food assistance to eligible Alaska Native and American Indian households in tribal communities throughout Alaska. Established in 1997, ANTHC operates the FDPIR self-determination demonstration project, which supplies traditional foods such as Alaskan halibut, cod, and locally grown potatoes to 18 tribes across the state while supporting food sovereignty and community wellness initiatives.
