Gila River Indian Community — Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR)

The Gila River Indian Community Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) is a federal nutrition program administered by the Gila River Indian Community that provides monthly commodity food packages to eligible Native American families and individuals. The program serves members of the Gila River and Ak-Chin Indian Communities and surrounding service areas including parts of Chandler, and operates under a grocery store model to support food security and nutrition for low-income tribal households.
