Association of Arizona Food Banks
About
Founded in 1984, the Arizona Food Bank Network (formerly the Association of Arizona Food Banks) is a private nonprofit organization based in Phoenix that coordinates five regional food bank members and serves a network of nearly 1,200 food pantries and agencies across Arizona. The organization develops solutions to end hunger through food banking, public policy, and innovation, with a vision of a hunger-free Arizona. As one of the first state associations in the nation and an inaugural partner of Feeding America, it plays a key role in increasing the quality and quantity of food distributed statewide, with particular emphasis on produce and school nutrition programs.
