Caridad Community Kitchen

Caridad Community Kitchen is a program of the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona located at 845 N. Main Ave. in Tucson that prepares and distributes free meals to seniors, families, children in after-school programs, and people experiencing homelessness. Since 2012, the organization has prepared and distributed more than 3.5 million meals and provided over 100,000 hours in culinary training through its free 11-week job training program designed for individuals facing employment barriers. The kitchen partners with 13 agencies to deliver congregate meals across the community and operates meal delivery programs for seniors through collaborations with organizations including Pima Council on Aging and Pima Meals on Wheels.
