Berkeley Food Pantry

Berkeley Food Pantry was established in spring 1969 and provides emergency groceries to Berkeley and Albany residents in need, distributing over 70,000 pounds of nutritious food monthly. Operating under the fiscal sponsorship of Berkeley Friends Church, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the pantry has been an official USDA Emergency Food Assistance Program distribution site since 1990 and now serves over 2,000 Berkeley and Albany residents monthly through its team of dedicated volunteers.
