Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry – Chico State Basic Needs Project

The Hungry Wildcat Food Pantry is part of California State University, Chico's Basic Needs Project and serves students, staff, and faculty facing food insecurity. Established in 2013, the pantry distributes over 60 tons of food annually to thousands of students, offering nutritious items including organic produce, canned foods, dairy products, and hygiene supplies through a collaborative effort of campus and community organizations. The pantry has become a leader and model for other CSU campuses, supporting student success and helping ensure no Wildcat has to choose between academics and basic survival.
