Desert Reign

Desert Reign is a food pantry operated by Desert Reign Church, an Assembly of God church in Downey that serves as a partner agency of the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. The pantry provides comprehensive support to hundreds of families throughout Downey and surrounding communities, offering walk-up food distribution and drive-through giveaways, while also maintaining a resource center that provides furniture and appliances to families in need. Through partnerships with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and its Extra Helpings program, the pantry has grown to distribute over 750,000 pounds of food annually, with volunteers and community connections helping to connect families with additional resources.
