Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation

The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to charitable humanitarian services, including medical care, disaster relief, and education. The foundation, which operates mobile clinics and food pantries throughout Southern California including La Puente, was founded in 1966 by Dharma Master Cheng Yen in Taiwan and has been recognized for its compassionate community outreach serving low-income residents and underserved populations.
