Open Heart Kitchen

Founded in 1995 as an interfaith effort, Open Heart Kitchen is the largest hot meal program in the Tri-Valley Area of Northern California, serving prepared, nutritious meals free of charge to hungry individuals across multiple locations in Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Open Heart Kitchen has grown to serve more than 9 million meals to date, providing essential support to seniors, individuals experiencing homelessness, underemployed individuals, and low-income families. The organization offers comprehensive community support including free meals, groceries, overnight shelter, and services like showers and laundry facilities through its Vineyard Resource Center.
