Silverlake Community Church

Silverlake Community Church is a nonprofit Presbyterian congregation and community hub in Los Angeles dedicated to serving the Silver Lake neighborhood and beyond. Founded in 1926 as the Ivanhoe Community Church and renamed in 1948, the church operates a food pantry and shower program in partnership with SELAH to support unhoused and low-income community members. The diverse congregation is guided by pastor Kyle Joachim and focuses on worship, prayer, service, and being a beacon of hope to those in need.
