People Helping People at South Bay Community Center – Pantry

People Helping People is a nonprofit organization operating a food pantry at the South Bay Community Center in Los Osos that collects, warehouses, and distributes bread, fruits, vegetables, and frozen foods to the elderly, needy, and homeless. In addition to food distribution, the organization lends medical equipment such as walkers and wheelchairs, stocks community resource materials, and helps connect people with assistance for tax, rental, and legal issues. The organization has distributed over 86,000 bags of groceries since its volunteer distribution program began, operating entirely through the efforts of more than 20 dedicated volunteers.
