The Food Initative

The Food Initiative of Greater Stanislaus (also known as Feed Modesto) is a nonprofit organization serving the Modesto and Stanislaus County area. Founded in 1978 and formerly known as Interfaith Ministries, the organization works to feed, clothe, and meet the basic human needs of the poorest in the community while increasing food access across the region. The organization provides healthy food pantry services, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and protein sources, along with mobile farmers markets and homebound delivery programs to low-income residents.
