North Valley Caring Services

North Valley Caring Services is a nonprofit organization established in 1978 that serves residents of the Northeast San Fernando Valley in North Hills, California. Beginning as a soup kitchen, NVCS has grown to become the largest single-site food distribution center in the San Fernando Valley, providing free programs and services to over 300,000 people annually who face food insecurity, housing challenges, employment barriers, and economic hardship. Beyond its food pantry operations, the organization offers comprehensive support including breakfast programs, shower facilities, youth enrichment programs, family literacy classes, homeless outreach services, and employment resources.
