Friends In Deed

Friends In Deed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1961 that provides food assistance to low-income and no-income families in the greater Pasadena and Altadena areas. The Food Pantry, the organization's largest program, operates like a neighborhood market where clients select their own groceries and also receives support from the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and community donations. Beyond food assistance, Friends In Deed serves homeless and at-risk communities through additional programs including The Women's Room, Bad Weather Shelter, and Homeless Prevention services.
