Food Bank For Monterey County

The Food Bank for Monterey County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the largest supplier of emergency supplemental food in Monterey County, serving more than 160,000 residents monthly across the region. The food bank solicits, collects, stores, and redistributes food to individuals and nonprofit agencies while operating over 240 distribution sites across 3,700 square miles. Based in Salinas, the organization rescues over 5 million pounds of food annually through innovative practices and partnerships with 145 nonprofit partners to address hunger and improve nutrition throughout the county.
