Food Pantry at St. Gregory’s

The Food Pantry at St. Gregory's is a volunteer-driven nonprofit food bank founded in 2000 that serves over 500 San Francisco families weekly with free, fresh groceries distributed in a welcoming, dignified environment. Operating out of St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in Potrero Hill, the organization is run entirely by volunteers—many of whom came as clients and stayed to help others—and receives no government funding, relying instead on community donations and support.
