Free Farm Stand – Food Distribution Center

Free Farm Stand is an all-volunteer community initiative under the No Penny Opera that distributes free, locally grown organic produce and plant starts to San Francisco residents, particularly low-income families and individuals. Founded in January 2010, the organization sources surplus food from neighborhood gardens, farmer's markets, community gardens, and public and private fruit trees, while promoting good nutrition, self-reliance, and community engagement in the Mission District.
