Western Addition FRC Pantry

The Western Addition Family Resource Center (FRC) Food Pantry is a collaborative effort operated by the YMCA of Greater San Francisco in partnership with the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, providing free groceries to residents of San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood. Launched in response to the closure of a local supermarket that left the area underserved for fresh food access, the pantry addresses food insecurity by distributing fresh produce, proteins, and pantry staples to community members. As a nonprofit initiative supported by the City's Department of Early Childhood and Department of Community Services and Development, it represents the YMCA's commitment to strengthening families and building equitable communities in this historically significant neighborhood.
