The Lord’s Pantry

The Lord's Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit emergency food program serving East San Jose, operated by volunteers under a paid director and affiliated with Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. The organization provides three to five days of groceries monthly to eligible families on referral, along with baby layette supplies for new mothers and specialized support for the homeless population through its Homeless Closet program. As an agency of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara County, The Lord's Pantry serves multiple zip codes in the San Jose area and averages approximately 7,700 individuals monthly.
