Familia Center and Beach Flats Community Center – Food Distribution Center

Familia Center and Beach Flats Community Center operate as Nueva Vista Community Resources, a nonprofit program of Community Bridges that serves Santa Cruz's Beach Flats and lower Ocean communities. Originally opened as La Familia in 1983, the center provides food distribution, counseling services, parent education, youth programs, and public benefits enrollment assistance to low-income residents. After facing closure in 2008, Community Bridges took over operations to ensure the community continued to have access to essential resources and support services.
