The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department serves older adults, dependent adults, and adults with disabilities throughout Los Angeles County through its San Gabriel Valley Service Center in South El Monte. The center provides emergency food assistance, nutrition programs, recreational activities, skills enhancement opportunities, and community engagement services to support healthy living and independence for residents of all ages in the surrounding communities.
