Volunteer Center South Bay Harbor Long Beach

The Volunteer Center South Bay-Harbor-Long Beach is a nonprofit organization that has served the South Bay, Harbor, and Long Beach communities for over six decades. The organization operates a volunteer-driven food pantry called Food For Kids, which provides bags of non-perishable food to low-income students at partner elementary schools across the South Bay and Harbor areas. Beyond food assistance, the Volunteer Center creates community connections through programs like Operation Teddy Bear, a literacy initiative serving underserved first-graders, and administers a Court-Referred Community Service program that offers meaningful volunteer opportunities to the community.
