St. Joseph Center Food Pantry

St. Joseph Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1976 by two Catholic nuns that serves low-income and housed families and individuals in Venice and Santa Monica through its food pantry, providing supplemental groceries in a choice-model supermarket-style setting along with nutrition education workshops. As part of a comprehensive community center, the organization also operates the Bread & Roses Café, housing services, mental health programs, job training, and outreach services that annually reach more than 10,000 people across Los Angeles County while helping nearly 2,500 individuals transition to permanent housing each year.
