Los Angeles County Aging and Disabilities Depart.

The Los Angeles County Aging & Disabilities Department operates the Los Nietos Community and Senior Service Center in Whittier, which was built in 1977 and underwent complete renovation in August 2020. The center provides a wide range of services including emergency food assistance for low-income individuals, congregate meals for seniors, and various community engagement and skill-enhancement programs for residents of all ages, serving the unincorporated Whittier area and neighboring communities.
