Woodland Volunteer Food Closet

The Woodland Volunteer Food Closet is a nonprofit organization established in 1968 to provide temporary nutritional and hygiene support to individuals and families in Yolo County. Operated by over 70 dedicated volunteers and led by an executive director, this community-based service distributes three days of nutritionally balanced meals to each family member and also participates in the SB 1383 Edible Food Recovery Program, diverting surplus food from local vendors and the landfill.
