La Puente Home – Food Distribution Center

La Puente Home is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1982 in Alamosa that serves the homeless, hungry, and people living in poverty in Colorado's San Luis Valley. The organization operates a comprehensive network of services including 15 food pantries, a homeless shelter, soup kitchen, supportive housing programs, and numerous community support initiatives. La Puente's food distribution programs serve approximately 25% of the San Luis Valley's population and distribute about 50,000 meals annually through their various locations throughout the region.
