Durango Community Shelter Soup Kitchen

Manna – The Durango Soup Kitchen has been serving the Durango community since 1985, founded in response to a local tragedy to combat hunger through food distribution and nutritious meals. The organization expanded from its original food distribution model to include a physical building established in 2001, and has since transformed its operations to offer free take-out meals, a community refrigerator with boxed meals, supportive services, a food market, and resource center programs aimed at addressing food insecurity and poverty. Beyond meals, Manna provides employment readiness programs, gardening projects, and culinary arts training to support sustainable solutions for families in need throughout the Durango area.
