Manna Soup Kitchen

Manna – The Durango Soup Kitchen is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has operated in Durango, Colorado since 1985, originally founded to address hunger through food distribution and a soup kitchen. Today, Manna provides a comprehensive range of services including nutritious take-out meals, a community food market with produce and other items, gardening programs, and supportive services through its Resource Center designed to address the root causes of poverty and homelessness. The organization operates as an inclusive, trauma-informed space that has expanded beyond its traditional soup kitchen model through community partnerships, including a 2020 merger with The Garden Project of Southwest Colorado, and relies on over 450 annual volunteers to support its programs serving the region.
