Food Bank for Larimer County

The Food Bank for Larimer County is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides food to individuals and families in need throughout Larimer County through community partnerships and hunger-relief programs, including its Fresh Food Share No Cost Markets. Founded in 1984 by VISTA volunteer Sandy Bowden, the organization has grown from distributing under 4,000 pounds of food in its first month to now serving over 50,000 individuals annually and distributing enough food for more than 10,000 meals. Located in Fort Collins, the Food Bank operates multiple programs including Fresh Food Share markets and works with partner organizations like Boys and Girls Clubs and Volunteers of America to address food insecurity.
