Lyons Community Food Pantry

Lyons Community Food Pantry, operated by the Lyons Elevating All Fund (LEAF), is a nonprofit food assistance program serving the Greater Lyons area and surrounding mountain communities. Established in 2008, the pantry has evolved from distributing pre-boxed items to operating a grocery store model where recipients select food based on household size, and became a Community Food Share member agency in 2009 to expand offerings to include perishable items like frozen meat, dairy, and produce. The pantry is primarily managed by volunteers and serves approximately 40-50 households weekly, distributing about 6,000 pounds of food each month to anyone in the Lyons area in need of food assistance.
