My Neighbor’s Cupboard

My Neighbor's Cupboard is a nonprofit food pantry in Penrose, Colorado, that serves veterans, seniors, and working families in need. Originally formed in June 2013 to help neighbors affected by the Black Forest fire, the organization operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a subsidiary of Crosses for Losses, with a volunteer-driven model supported entirely by community donations. The cupboard is set up like a hometown market where visitors can freely select items without qualification requirements, and also runs a Mobile Market Outreach program that brings fresh food, canned goods, and dairy products to neighbors throughout the community.
