Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado – Main Location

Founded by Sister Dominique Pisciotta in 1972, Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring equitable and sustainable access to nutritious food across the region. Operating from distribution centers in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and the San Luis Valley, the organization serves as the sole food bank in Southern Colorado, distributing millions of pounds of food annually through a network of partner agencies across 29 counties. Care and Share combines direct food acquisition, mobile food pantries, and community partnerships to combat food insecurity and help thousands of Southern Coloradans access the nutrition they need to thrive.
