Food Pantry at Chapel In the Pines

The Food Pantry at Chapel in the Pines, also known as the North 40 Food Pantry, serves the rural Red Feather Lakes community in Larimer County by providing free food assistance to residents in need. Founded in 2020, the pantry is operated by the North 40 Mountain Alliance nonprofit and is housed in the basement of Chapel in the Pines, a non-sectarian Christian fellowship church. Beyond food distribution, the pantry has become an important community hub that addresses both food insecurity and social isolation in this remote mountain area, with organizers reporting that it has served more than 2,000 people with food and connection.
