Harvest for Hunger – Snowmass Village

Harvest for Hunger is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to reducing food waste in the Roaring Fork Valley and helping those in need. Founded during COVID-19 in 2021 by ski bums living and working in the valley, the organization operates through a two-pronged approach: food rescue partnerships with local retailers and businesses, and a stigma-free food pantry providing free access to groceries for residents and employees of Pitkin County. Since its inception, Harvest for Hunger has rescued over 269,000 pounds of food from local landfills and now serves approximately 2,200 people monthly through pantry locations in Snowmass Village and Aspen.
