Meriden Soup Kitchen

The Meriden Soup Kitchen, founded in 1983, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding the hungry in Meriden, Connecticut. Operating from the First Baptist Church, the kitchen provides complete nutritious meals including hot soup, entrées, salad, bread, beverages, and desserts to anyone in need, regardless of age, nationality, or background. With the support of volunteer teams, the organization serves an average of 140 to 200 meals daily and also offers take-home bakery items and fresh produce when available.
