Christian Community Action, Inc.

Christian Community Action, Inc. is an ecumenical nonprofit social services organization established in 1967 in the Hill Community of New Haven, Connecticut. The organization provides emergency shelter, transitional housing, food assistance, and supportive services to families experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless, with programs designed to help families achieve economic security and self-sufficiency. CCA operates emergency family shelter with 17 apartments, a transitional housing program with 18 apartments, a food pantry, and advocacy initiatives that work to empower individuals and influence public policy addressing poverty.
