Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen DESK

Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen (DESK) is a New Haven-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1987 that serves people experiencing homelessness or living in poverty by providing food assistance, meals, and comprehensive services promoting health, community, and equity. In addition to a nightly dinner program and weekly food pantry, DESK operates New Haven's only low-barrier Downtown Drop-in & Resource Center, which connects guests with shelter, housing, mental health services, addiction support, and employment assistance.
