Women Of the Village Food Pantry

Women of the Village Community Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 2017 that serves residents of New Haven by providing emergency food assistance and supplies to families in need. Operating from the Dixwell Community Police Substation, the organization distributes food to between 400-500 families weekly, offering both prebagged items and open shop options while prioritizing healthy produce and protein items, and collaborates with community partners on additional giving initiatives including diaper distribution and holiday food drives.
