The Diaper Bank of Connecticut

Founded in 2004, The Diaper Bank of Connecticut is a nonprofit organization based in North Haven that provides free diapers, period supplies, and incontinence products to low-income families and individuals throughout Connecticut. The organization distributes these essential basic health needs through a network of more than 160 community partners including food pantries, shelters, and social service agencies. The Diaper Bank has distributed over 31 million diapers and serves as a national model for addressing diaper insecurity while advocating for policy reform to recognize these items as basic human needs.
