IHSP-Daily Bread Food Pantry

The IHSP-Daily Bread Food Pantry, operated by Interfaith Human Services of Putnam, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has served the community for many years, formally established in 2005. The client-choice food pantry provides emergency food assistance to individuals and families in need, partnering with Connecticut Foodshare and local retailers including Stop & Shop, Price Chopper, and Big Y to distribute nutritious foods. In addition to traditional pantry services, IHSP offers numerous community programs including a Diaper Bank, clothing closet, fuel and rental assistance, and partnerships with the Putnam School System to provide healthy snacks for children.
