FAITH Food Pantry

FAITH Food Pantry (Food Assistance, Immediate, Temporary Help) is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization serving Newtown and Sandy Hook residents since 1983. Originally founded as an outreach program of St. John's Episcopal Church in Sandy Hook, FAITH was granted 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2016 and provides one week's worth of groceries, toiletries, and cleaning supplies monthly to qualifying residents, with delivery available for those unable to visit the pantry location.
