Connecticut Food Bank

Connecticut Foodshare is a nonprofit food bank founded in 1982 that serves as the sole food bank for all of Connecticut, distributing food to over 450 food pantries, community kitchens, and shelters statewide. The organization works with food retailers, farmers, and manufacturers to source donated food and distribute it to people in need, while also operating multiple programs including mobile pantries and backpack initiatives to combat food insecurity across the state.
