Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry

Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries is a non-denominational, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that operates a daily soup kitchen and emergency food pantry to serve the greater Waterbury community. The organization serves approximately 450-500 people daily through its soup kitchen and provides nearly 500,000 meals annually to unemployed, homeless, working poor, elderly, and children in need. Founded in 1957, GWIM operates with a mission to nourish the hungry in a respectful and dignified manner while empowering clients toward self-sufficiency.
