Food and Friends Main Location

Founded in 1988, Food & Friends is a nonprofit organization that delivers medically tailored, home-prepared meals and groceries to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-challenging illnesses throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan region. The organization partners with more than 250 hospitals, clinics, social service agencies, and hospices to provide specialized nutrition counseling and reduce social isolation among those facing serious health challenges. Each year, Food & Friends prepares and delivers nearly one million meals across the greater DC region at no charge to its clients.
