Harry Chapin Food Bank

Harry Chapin Food Bank is the largest hunger-relief organization in Southwest Florida, serving Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry and Lee counties through food rescue and distribution programs including a Senior Feeding Program, mobile pantries, in-school pantries, and a network of over 150 partner agencies. Established in 1983 and operating as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the food bank serves approximately 300,000 people annually and is currently constructing a new Hunger Action Center facility in Fort Myers that will nearly double its capacity and include community meeting rooms for nutrition and educational programs.
