Star of the Sea Outreach Mission Food Program

Star of the Sea Outreach Mission is a nonprofit food pantry founded in 2006 that provides free nutritious food to individuals and families in Key West and Monroe County experiencing food insecurity. The organization operates as a client-choice food pantry, distributing over 1.5 million pounds of fresh produce and nutritious foods annually to working-poor residents, with more than 50% of distributed food being fresh produce. Beyond food assistance, the mission also distributes clothing and household items, provides referral services for additional support programs, and serves as an outreach ministry of the Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea.
